Binding Moratorium - Hurricane Hilary
Effective Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. EST, London Underwriters issued a binding moratorium for all new policies requiring windstorm and property coverage policies in California.
The Moratorium applies to both Commercial and Residential lines property business requiring windstorm and property coverage, including but not limited to the following products: HO6, Commercial Property, Inland Marine, Cargo and Yachts.
This binding moratorium applies to new business and expired renewals, as well as new additions and/or exposure or limit increases to existing policies. We will communicate any further updates regarding this binding moratorium via email, social media and on our website.
